Our Rubric Guarantee

Students who attend the required sessions, submit the agreed work, and complete their revisions are expected to demonstrate improvement on our writing rubric. If an eligible student does not improve by at least one rubric level within eight weeks, we will provide four additional weeks of coaching at no additional cost.

TutorLine is our dedicated support system. Students can submit questions between sessions, and our tutors provide direct, written feedback within one school day.

Will my child have the same tutor every week?

Yes. We assign a consistent primary tutor to each student. This ensures continuity in your child's learning plan and allows for deep, personalized coaching.

Can parents see student progress?

Yes. Parents receive a concise monthly report that includes sessions attended, work reviewed, skills being developed, and areas still requiring attention.

Can we purchase an extra session?

Yes. We offer flexible membership options and additional private sessions for students who need extra support between their regular weekly coaching.

Do you guarantee a specific school grade?

No. We do not offer guaranteed marks. Our focus is on helping students improve their writing process and demonstrate visible progress on our rubric-based assessments.

How does the free diagnostic work?

The diagnostic is a 30-minute session where we assess your child's current writing skills and identify specific areas for improvement to create a personalized 90-day plan.

Is tutoring online or in person?

All tutoring is conducted online via secure video conferencing. This allows for flexibility and consistent support from the comfort of your home.

How are tutors screened and trained?

Tutors are vetted for academic integrity and professional conduct. They are trained in our CLEAR Writing System and Alberta curriculum standards to ensure high-quality coaching.

Can the program support diploma-exam preparation?

Yes. We offer specialized diploma-exam preparation options, including timed-writing practice and targeted review for English Language Arts and Social Studies.

Will you add math and science in the future?

Our current focus is on English and Social Studies. We are always evaluating our offerings based on student demand and market needs.
